Customer Announcement

Nissan Australia has advised that it will not renew our franchise agreement. Our final day operating as an authorised Nissan dealership will be 30 November 2026.

While we are disappointed by this decision, we understand it aligns with Nissan Australia’s national dealer network plans.

Our service centre will continue operating under Cole Motor Group, providing regular logbook servicing and maintenance for Nissan owners.

From 1 December 2026, Nissan capped-price and flat-price servicing, Nissan-specific diagnostics, warranty repairs and recall work will need to be arranged through an authorised Nissan dealership. The closest options are Westco Nissan Cairns. Customers wishing to retain Nissan’s service-activated warranty benefits should also confirm their ongoing servicing requirements with an authorised Nissan dealership.

Our in-stock Nissan vehicles are priced to clear, with great deals on surplus Nissan parts available while stocks last.

Come in, speak with our sales and parts teams, and grab a deal!

Atherton Nissan – Customer FAQs

Why is Atherton Nissan closing?

Nissan Australia has advised that it will not renew our franchise agreement as part of its national dealer network restructure.

Can I still have my Nissan serviced with you?

Yes. Our service centre will continue operating under Cole Motor Group, providing regular logbook servicing and maintenance.

From 1 December 2026, we will no longer provide Nissan capped-price or flat-price servicing or Nissan warranty repairs. These services, along with Nissan-specific diagnostics, should be booked directly with an authorised dealership, such as Westco Nissan Cairns.

Your chosen Nissan dealership can confirm the servicing programs and warranty requirements applicable to your vehicle.

What if I already have a service booking with Atherton Nissan?

If you have a booking scheduled after 30 November, our service team will contact you before your appointment to confirm arrangements. We will discuss whether your booking can proceed through Cole Motor Group or whether the work needs to be booked at an authorised Nissan dealership.

Will my Nissan manufacturer warranty remain valid?

Yes. Any remaining Nissan manufacturer warranty cover continues under the terms and conditions applicable to your vehicle.

Nissan’s additional service-activated warranty has separate eligibility requirements, including logbook servicing within the authorised Nissan dealer network. Please confirm these requirements with Nissan or an authorised Nissan dealership before choosing where to service your vehicle. View Nissan’s warranty information.

Where do I go for warranty repairs or recall work?

From 1 December 2026, please direct Nissan warranty enquiries and repair requests to an authorised dealership, such as Westco Nissan in Cairns or Innisfail Nissan. They can assess your concerns and arrange any eligible warranty repairs.

Recall inspections and repairs should also be arranged through an authorised Nissan dealership. View Nissan’s recall information.

Where can I purchase genuine Nissan parts and accessories?

Our in-stock Nissan Parts are priced to clear, with great deals while stocks last.

For special orders, we will refer you to Westco Nissan in Cairns, who can assist with genuine Nissan parts and accessories, pricing and availability.

Can I still purchase a new Nissan from Atherton Nissan?

Our in-stock Nissan vehicles are priced to clear, with great deals available while stocks last.

We understand this change may cause inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and continued support.
